Welldon's Weekly Video 18.09.2026 ParentPay: From Monday, school lunches must be ordered through ParentPay. If no meal is ordered, children will only be offered a jacket potato or sandwich. All school meals remain free. Pupil Premium: Families are encouraged to check whether they are eligible, as this provides additional funding for the school. A link will be included with the update letter. School photographs: Tuesday 22nd September. All children should wear smart school uniform, including their green jumper—no PE kits. Sibling photographs are available from 8:00am. Parking: Please park respectfully, avoid blocking driveways or emergency access, and consider walking or parking further away. Police, CCTV enforcement and school leaders may be present. SEND calls: On Wednesday, parents and carers of children on the SEND register should expect a call from their child’s teacher between 3:30pm and 4:30pm to support the preparation of their Individual Support Plan. Family Friday: Friday 25th September at 8:50am in the Wyvenhoe Hall for parents and carers of children in Years 1–6. After a short introduction, families can visit classrooms and hear key information for the year. Nursery and Reception will have a separate event once the children have settled.

Welldon's Weekly Video 11.09.2026 It has been wonderful to see everyone back at The Welldon Park Academy! Our children have made a brilliant start and look incredibly smart in their uniforms. A few reminders for our families: 🏷️ Please name everything your child brings to school. 🌧️ Check the weather each morning and send your child with a coat or jacket when rain is forecast. 🍽️ Please complete the free school meals eligibility check, even if you have checked previously, as the eligibility criteria have changed. 💳 If you have not yet activated ParentPay, please do so. This is where you can view the school lunch menu and order your child’s meals. 🥣 Aktiva provides our breakfast and after-school clubs, including our free breakfast club.
